| Ellie comes to us
from the well known producing and winning Beaugency
Kennels in the UK. Her sire 'Scapin' was best male
Briard at the French National Rassemblement in 2005 and
her dam 'Ixa' was Best of Breed at the Amsterdam All
Winners Show 2004. Ellie is from Ixa's first litter.
Ellie comes from a long line of French and English
champions with many top producing dogs and bitches
behind her. She was carefully chosen to compliment our
existing type and lines, and through her sire, Scapin,
she brings to Australia a totally new French bloodline.
Her dam lines are English and French and will blend
beautifully with our existing lines. We can't thank
Jenny enough for letting this beautiful girl come to
Australia!! Ellie gained her HIC (herding) in June. And her mum 'Ixa'
gained 2 more CC's to gain her crown and become an
English Champion!!!
Ellie won Bitch CC and Champion Puppy in Group at
Brisbane Royal 2006 - one of Australia's largest shows!!
Ellie won Best of Breed at Australia's
première show Sydney Royal 2007 and then made the
final 6 for the group - all at 14 mths of age!!!
Ellie will be bred in mid 2008. The sire will
be our Yank.
Ellie and Yank are the only representatives of their
bloodlines in Australasia. Yank has a proven history as
a sire of pups with great conformation, temperament and
working ability. This should be a really exciting
litter, the colour alone will be a show stopper. Ellie
was chosen not just for her looks (although you would be
hard to go past her brilliant conformation and
temperament :-), but also for the 'breeding on' ability
of her bloodlines.
Serious enquiries welcome. All show / breeding pups
will be in joint names - no exceptions. Companion pups
will be on the Limited Register and will be required to
be speyed / neutered. These pups would be a great
foundation for someone just starting out, or a valuable
addition to an existing breeding program.
